Another Shark Tank original has invested in the psychedelic industry.

Kevin Harrington, the creator of the late-night infomercial and pioneer of the As Seen on TV brand, is the newest investor and strategic advisor to Psycheceutical, Inc., a company developing psychedelic medicines and delivery systems, that, as its name implies, combine psychedelic drugs with pharmaceutical formats.

“I like to get in on the ground floor,” says Harrington when asked what propelled his decision to invest in a psychedelics company like Psycheceutical. “I feel that now is the time, especially considering the significant issues in the world we’re dealing with. There are so many folks that can’t get solutions with regular medicine,” he says, referencing those affected by the opioid and mental health crises, as well as the Covid-19 pandemic.

Harrington, also an early investor and former director at fitness drink company Celsius Holdings, says throughout his career as an investor, one thing that has united all of his investments has been their ability to create transformation—“whether it was a Tony Little weight loss product or a tool in the kitchen that made cooking faster,” he says.
